One of the world’s most celebrated Amapiano platforms is turning its attention to the source this summer, with Piano People unveiling two powerhouse line-ups for major events in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Uncle Waffles, Focalistic, Dlala Thukzin and Oscar Mbo lead the charge for PIANO PEOPLE AT THE STATION, which makes its Johannesburg debut at the iconic Old Park Station on 28 November, alongside a special back-to-back set from Kelvin Momo and Njelic.

Then, as Cape Town heads into peak festive season, Scorpion Kings, Focalistic and Dlala Thukzin are among the headline names taking over Cabo Beach on 30 December for PIANO PEOPLE ON THE BEACH, following the global event brand’s sold-out debut at the venue.

Together, the two events bring some of the biggest names in South African music to two dramatically different settings — from the raw urban energy of one of Joburg’s most distinctive landmarks to a year-end celebration beside the ocean in Cape Town.
But for Piano People, South Africa represents far more than another destination on an international calendar. It is home to the music that started it all.
A month later, Piano People swaps the city for the shoreline.

Set against the backdrop of Cabo Beach on 30 December, PIANO PEOPLE ON THE BEACH brings Amapiano into full summer mode — music, ocean and sunset coming together for one of Cape Town’s final major celebrations of 2026.
Together, the two events capture the essence of Piano People: bringing the music, artists and fans driving Amapiano’s global rise together.
