A Crown With a Bigger Mission: Bokang Relebohile Maseli Wants a Generation of Girls to Dream Bigger
The true measure of a crown is not always found in the moment it is placed on someone’s head. Sometimes, it is found in what that person chooses to do with the platform afterwards.
For Bokang Relebohile Maseli, the newly crowned Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026, the answer lies in inspiring young women to believe that they are capable of greatness.
At 16, Bokang is beginning her reign with a vision that reaches across education, entrepreneurship, media, poetry and personal development.
Her immediate focus is young people who may have ambitions but lack the confidence to pursue them. She wants to encourage younger girls to dream boldly and understand that their current circumstances do not define their future.
One of the ways she plans to do this is through Raise Her, an upcoming podcast designed to amplify women’s experiences.
The platform will focus on raising a woman’s voice, mind and future, with women from different backgrounds invited to share the stories behind their journeys.

Bokang believes that representation and honest conversations can help young girls see possibilities for themselves that they may not have considered before.
Her own future is equally ambitious.
She is currently completing Grade 10 at Pinnacle College Copperleaf, where she studies Business Studies, Life Sciences and History. Her plans include studying law and becoming a corporate lawyer.
Alongside her education, she is developing herself as an entrepreneur.
Bokang is the co-owner of TR Cosmetics, a beauty business established with Botle. The company is working towards developing its own makeup product line and has plans for a future beauty salon.
The ultimate goal is international expansion, with Bokang envisioning the brand reaching markets such as London, Paris and the United States.
Entrepreneurship is therefore not simply a side interest. It is part of the future she is actively building.
Bokang also sees public speaking and poetry as important tools for communicating her message. Her creative work gives her a way to speak about confidence, self-belief and the process of becoming a stronger version of oneself.

Her reign now brings all these interests together.
The queen, entrepreneur, student, poet and aspiring lawyer are all part of the same young woman who wants to build a meaningful legacy.
For Bokang, success will not simply be measured by the opportunities she receives, but by the opportunities she helps create for others.
She wants the girls who encounter her story to leave with a simple understanding: they are worthy of greatness, their voices matter and their dreams deserve to be pursued.
The crown has given Bokang a stage.
Now she intends to use it to help others find theirs.
