Absa has partnered with St David’s Marist Inanda to support the 2026 Independent Schools Rugby Festival, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to youth development and the growth of sport in South Africa.
Hosted at St David’s Marist Inanda from 26 June to 1 July 2026, this year’s festival marks a significant milestone, bringing together both the Prep and College Festivals on one campus for the first time. The event will see more than 1,200 young players take to the field, representing 56 teams from 28 schools across South Africa.
The tournament also features international participation, including Eton College from the United Kingdom, further enhancing the global profile of the festival. Over five days, a total of 168 matches will be played, offering young athletes a platform to showcase their talent, build character, and develop leadership skills through sport.
