Dr. Krystal T. Morris, an internationally recognized educator, author, community leader and social-impact visionary from Dallas Texas, is bringing that question directly to South Africa with plans to expand robotics and STEAM education in Soweto, strengthen school partnerships in the Eastern Cape and support the development of a FIRST Tech Challenge robotics league in the province.
With more than 22 years in education, Dr. Morris has built her career around creating pathways for young people to move from potential to purpose. Through her Urban Community Coalition and STEAM Kids Education/Robotics initiatives, she is connecting education, technology, career readiness, entrepreneurship and community development.
