M.Phasha Releases “Women Like You” – A Song Where Ego Meets Vulnerability
South African Artist, Songwriter and Creative Director, M.Phasha’s latest music offering is playlist must-add.
Set against a lavish 80s/90s throwback-inspired beat, M.Phasha’s ‘Women Like You’ song reflects the tension between pride, desire and emotional confusion.
Produced by longtime musical collaborator, Wolfy Jaywolf, who has been significantly involved in M.Phasha’s discography, with songs like ‘Batamela’ and ‘Re Tsogile’ featuring uWah in M.Phasha’s most recent single run – the two deliver a modernised vintage sound that blends nostalgic textures with the timeless, love-driven essence of M.Phashas’s songwriting.
The single captures the moment ego meets vulnerability.
Within M.Phasha’s “villain arc”, the character unexpectedly falls in love and questions why he keeps falling for women who may not be good for him.

About M.Phasha:
Since starting his career in 2018, M.Phasha has built a notable list of milestones. His second single ‘Coolerbox’ (featuring Danny B) has spent multiple weeks on the Metro FM charts through DJ Speedsta’s then Hip Hop Show.
He has hosted his own live events at cultural spaces like Mangrove in Braamfontein, taken his music on tour to Cape Town, and most recently created intimate screening experiences for his latest run of singles (Batamela, Re Tsogile and Mr Choker Chain) at private venues and the iconic independent cinema, Bioscope.
Each step has added to a growing list of achievements while staying true to his independent approach.
