Tuesday, 25 August – Johannesburg, South Africa — LUMINARY, the South African jewellery house built around hip-hop culture, today announced the return of its collaboration with recording artist Lucasraps: a limited, 25-piece second run of the BIGQOSH pendant, dropping on 28 August at 10:00 AM exclusively via the LUMINARY website.
The original BIGQOSH pendant — named for and inspired by Lucasraps’ record label “Big Qosh” — launched as a strictly limited 60-piece edition and quickly became a collector’s item within the South African hip-hop community. Every piece was handcrafted, with each stone hand-set and every detail finished by hand — the kind of quality felt in the weight and precision of the piece rather than described on a spec sheet. Once the original 60 sold out, the pendant became one of the most sought-after artist collaborations in LUMINARY’s history.
Vol. 2 is not a restock. It is a deliberately small, spontaneous continuation of that story — built for the fans who missed the first drop and the day-one supporters who want to add to their collection. The same design DNA, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that defined the original piece carries through to this run, with the collector-item exclusivity fully intact: once the 25 pieces are gone, the run closes for good.
