
Melrose Arch celebrates Women’s Day weekend with music, family fun and a special performance by The Clorettes
Live entertainment from Andy Klee and The Royal Countess Zingara’s acclaimed vocal quartet brings extra magic to the long weekend
Melrose Arch is set to celebrate Women’s Day weekend with three days of live entertainment, family-friendly activities and memorable experiences from Friday, 7 August to Sunday, 9 August. From outdoor performances and children’s activities to a striking Women’s Day installation, the precinct will offer visitors plenty of reasons to make a day of it over the long weekend.
Live music and a rare Zingara performance
The Square will come alive with live performances by Andy Klee on Saturday, 8 August and Sunday, 9 August from 1 pm to 4 pm, creating a vibrant atmosphere for visitors enjoying lunch or drinks at the surrounding restaurants along The Square and Lower High Street.

Adding to the Women’s Day celebrations, The Clorettes from The Royal Countess Zingara will perform on the square on Sunday, 9 August from 2:30 pm. The glamorous vocal quartet, whose rich harmonies and cabaret-style performances have become one of the highlights of the acclaimed La Dolce Royal production, will perform outside the Melrose Arch Pavilion for the very first time.
With The Royal Countess Zingara currently captivating audiences under the big top at Melrose Arch, this offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience The Clorettes’ signature blend of glamour, musical talent and stage presence, in a sneak peak of what can be experienced fully in the production.
Family fun and picture-perfect moments
Families can also look forward to the Piazza Fun Zone, running daily from Saturday, 8 August to Monday, 10 August between 10 am and 5 pm. Children can enjoy a variety of activities including soft play areas, a jumping castle, colouring stations and the popular trampoline bungee, making Melrose Arch the perfect destination for a family outing over the long weekend.
Visitors will also be able to capture the occasion at a specially curated Women’s Day installation, created in partnership with The Royal Countess Zingara and Mercedes-Benz. Open on Sunday, 9 August from 11 am to 5 pm, the striking display will provide the perfect backdrop for Women’s Day photographs and social media moments.
